Our Teams and Tasks

People to join our Section Teams

Help to make our weekly meetings amazing!

We need more people to come along to help out regularly at any Section meeting - being part of the team and even share the adventure with your youngster.

You’d need to complete our Grass Roots learning (online) and have a Scout PVG check made.

People to join a Family Help Rota

Be there and make a real

difference!

Got a little time to spare? Then this is the easiest way to help us make a real difference for your youngsters.

Just sign up to help out at an occasional meeting night or activity.

With a few Family Rota helpers each week, we can really transform what we’re able to do at section meetings.

People to become Trustees

Making a difference behind the scenes

Join our Trustee Board (yes, we’re a registered charity). Bring with you a desire to see the Scout Group flourish and be well-managed. Perhaps also a particular skill or interest that may help us.

We have a need for people who can contribute to our  IT, Health & Safety, Public Relations or HR matters.

People to look after our Scout Hall

Can you fix it?

A really important team needed to keep our Scout Hall in great shape.  We’re always on a lookout for people to help us - a group of people who would be happy to take on specific “trade” tasks such as:

Electrical work | Alarms

Painting | Decorating

Woodwork

Plumbing

General DIY

Active Support Team members

Help out and join in with  the adventure

Keen to be regularly involved in supporting Scouts but limited for time?

Active Support allows you to help out and take part in some activities yourself. You can help with weekly meetings, activities and camps - but also behind the scenes and even those DIY tasks.

Your time - your choice!

Support our money & fundraising activity

We have lots of small tasks that need to be done

In a busy Scout Group, there's always lots to do - especially around money and fundraising.

Helping the Group Treasurer with financial processing tasks, applying for grants and donations or helping to organise fundraising activities.

All tasks that can be done in your time, to suit you.

For roles involving regular contact with young people and in trustee roles, we will require a PVG Scheme check and completion of essential learning modules.

If you can help us with any of these roles or tasks, hit the button below!
