We have to manage our premises; raise funds and manage the financial business of the Group. The Group is a Scottish Charity (SC032681) and must comply with appropriate legislation and guidelines.

Committee members and trustees: the business management of the Group
This group meets to manage the Group’s business affairs - how money is raised and spent and takes decisions about all of the Group's assets [buildings, equipment, stores and grounds].
It meets around 6 or 7 times each year. Membership is for a year at a time, normally from each year’s AGM.
It is absolutely vital we have an active committee to ensure that the Group operates legally and accountably as a Scottish Charity.
We own our Scout Centre and we're responsible for all repairs and maintenance.
We have a team who carry out the practical work required - painting, joinery, electrical, gardening, etc - to keep our Scout Centre working and in good condition.
There's always plenty to be done! At present we do the cleaning too! With a team or four or five, it might only involve an hour or two every few weeks - at a time that suits you.

We have an active fundraising programme to provide additional funds to invest in our premises, equipment and activities.
